Guangdong Science Center provides a number of different venues for rent. The east gate square has a space of 30,000 sq. m and can hold over 10,000 people. It is equipped with sound systems and fountains to meet the need of holding any event including ceremonies, large outdoor exhibitions and recruitment meetings.

Multifunctional Hall 

There are also temporary exhibition halls of different sizes for rental. The biggest one covers 6,000 sq. m and there are several smaller ones ranging from 500 to 1,000 sq. m in size. The exhibitions can also be held in the ground floor podium which covers 1,200 sq. m. All halls are square and without a pillar. They have a large entrance and high ceiling to facilitate the transporting of exhibits. The halls can either be used alone or in combination to fit different exhibitions.

In the Academic Exchange Center, there are conference rooms of different sizes for rental. The multi-functional conference room has a full set of equipment. It has a floor space of 1,100 sq. m and can hold more than 600 persons. The amphitheater takes up an area of 200 sq. m and admits about 150 persons. There are several other conference rooms fully equipped with sound, lighting, speech, video, voting and teleconference systems that a conference or ceremonial event may need.
