GDSC currently has two science exploration workshops which are complementary to the activity spaces like the Open Lab. The workshops are suitable for holding science education and exploration activities for youngsters from primary school to senior high school (aged from 6 to 18), families, science teachers and technology enthusiasts (30 to 50 participants).  

Functions of the workshops:  

1. Accommodating tests of science education package, science education counseling, science exploration activities, production of science kits, thinking training competition and display of science education works.  

2. Interacting with the Science Exploration Store, and providing a place for the public to participate in learning and producing science goods, for example, the kits of creative robot.  

3. Accommodating various value-added educational activities based on the science education package developed by GDSC, such as the creative robot summer/winter camp, special exploration of plants, and aircraft model production.  

4. Accommodating activities of the Science Exploration Camp, such as outward bound activities, orienteering, and special exploration of plants.  

5. Accommodating astronomical activities, maker production education, science sharing salon, science teacher training and other special activities.
