On June 6，2017, Mr. Chaiyosh Imsuwan, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, led a delegation of 25 officials to visit GDSC.

Lu Jingui, General Director of GDSC, warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the science popularization activities of GDSC in detail. He also expressed that a good foundations has been laid for mutual communications, particularly the visit paid by Princess Sirindhorn in 2013. The two sides had exchanged in-depth ideas on the organization structure of GDSC and its R&D and implementation of educational activities. Mr. Chaiyosh Imsuwan said that GDSC is a science museum of international reputation. This visit to GDSC has offered an opportunity for him to learn that the operation, management and education activities of GDSC are so different from those of the science museums in Thailand.  He said there is a lot for the Thai counterparts to learn from GDSC and expected closer communication and cooperation with GDSC.
